“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.”

Welcome to
Urban Nature Walks

When was the last time you were out in nature?
When was the last time you really felt connected and at home in the natural world?

As a New Yorker you thrive on the pace, the lights, the crowds – most of the time.

There’s a part of you that’s just being worn away be the endless stress and noise of it all. You need a break and a chance to reset your system…

Being outdoors can make a tremendous difference – especially when you do it in a conscious, connected way.

Forest Therapy – also known as “Forest Bathing” – has been scientifically proven to decrease stress and improve overall health. Plus, it’s just plain fun to get outside!

Join us for a Nature Connection Walk here in the city or come with us on one of our Wilderness Connection Experiences up in the mountains.

About Me

Hi, I’m Alex, and I’d like to be your guide.

I love this city. I’ve lived here my entire life. People look at me a little funny when I tell them my favorite aspects of this place are the trees, the water, and the green spaces, but I swear it’s true!

Nature is everywhere in NYC. You just need to know where to look for it and you need to be ready to give it your full attention.

As a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, I am trained to help you feel comfortable and excited to be out in nature.  Even more importantly, I invite you to experience the kind of healing and reconnection that can only happen when you develop a relationship with the earth.

Services

Everyone benefits from being outdoors. Our walks are designed for everybody ages 15 and up.

Plan to bring your family and friends or just sign up to come on your own. Contact me to set up a private walk for your group or just for yourself.

Events are generally held on weekends and are offered rain or shine. If there is a chance of lighting or other severe weather, we will reschedule.
